Don Papa is a premium aged, small batch rum from the Philippines. Distilled at the island of Negros, Don Papa is created from one of the crucial highest quality sugar cane on the planet. Don Papa is aged for seven years in American oak within the foothills of Mount Kanlaon and then charcoal filtered to take away any tannins and impurities before being carefully blended and bottled at the island of Negros, known in the community as Sugarlandia. The combination of the wealthy volcanic soil at the island, the quality of the sugar cane, the ageing in oak and the blender’s skill gives Don Papa a wealthy smooth taste. Don Papa is light and fruity at the nose, smooth and delicate at the palate, the light amber-coloured Don Papa has a long, wealthy-textured finish and offers flavours of vanilla, honey and candied fruits. Best served at the rocks or mixed in a cocktail such as a Don Papa Old Fashioned. Item at the hands comes within the cylindrical box (gift box).
